Role Play Sample:
In a perfectly white stone building, which now glowed in the night’s darkness like a flower, a man lay wide awake and suffered. Ingram never slept. Every night he got changed, tucked himself into bed, closed his eyes and calmed his breath (another trick which had taken some time to master) to keep up appearances, but that’s all. Even though the deity had learned to empty his mind and fall into a sort of half-conscious state, peace and rest for which human beings slept in the first place were still far away from his reach. This particular night seemed to cause even more difficulties to relax than usual.

Something had happened. Was it a new setback in military operations or had the pirates been at it again, that he wouldn’t learn until morning. Irrelevant. The damage was already done. A rumor was making its way through Argo. Ingram could feel how it crept about just out of public authority’s sight, poisoning people’s minds with empty hope and spreading uncontrollably like one of those epidemics which he used to torture human race with. Only this time he was the tortured party.
Ingram shivered and glanced at the clock on his night table. Three in the morning. There was just a minute chance his secretary would already be hovering downstairs waiting for a suitable hour to wake him up. The deity sat up and, ignoring the worsening nausea, started to search for his shoes. Someone was going to pay for this.
